Hello All

I'm working on a system and I'm getting the following errors when trying to connect to their dial-up provider.

"Connect has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL"
"Connect has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL"

Let me say that this system was infested with many spyware apps and has been cleaned using a comnbination of Ad-aware and Trend Micro's online Spyware tool. Once cleaned all seemed to work fine. It's only after I downloaded and installed the latest MS patches that i encountered these errors. These errors pop-up when I attempt to connect to AT&T Worldcom dial-up. The number is dialed and the negotiation seems to be complete but then I get these errors. I've done google seaches for answers but found none.

Can anyone provie some insight here? BTW, I do NOT have he original CDs.
