OS: XP SP 1
Processor: 3.2 GHz Intel
RAM: 1024 MB
Graphics Card: 6600 GT
Motherboard: D915GAV

Problem Description:
My Mic port I beleive is having conflicts with the resto f the hardware...as soon as any application (MSN / TeamSpeak) / Control Panel) etc try to detect Mic....My computer just restarts...sometimes it gives a Blue Screen of Death which lasts for 1-2 seconds, (I dont have much time to read what it says) ....
Any Idea what I can do to solve it.

Only recent things I've done is replace hardisks and cd roms etc..and put them back.

Thanks

Maybe if you upgrade to sp2 it would fix the problem? There may be a patch in it somwhere that fixes that problem. That's the only thing I can think of besides using a sound card isntead of the onboard sound.
