I tried to install a new video card, ATI 100-437105 Radeon 9550 256MB 128-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card, on Monday.

I followed the instructions about downloading the updated AGP drivers for my motherboard, installed the new card and restarted my computer.

The computer would not boot up and gave me a message asking me to insert the boot media into the boot device.

I shut the computer down and removed the card and tried to restart and received the same message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Check all your cables inside the pc and make sure you didnt knock anything loose when you were working in there.

I will check my cables to see if anything did come unconnected.

And no, I don't have a floppy in the drive.

Thanks for your help. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Warriorscot.

I opened my box and found my HD cable was loose. I reconnected it and my baby booted up like a champ.

Thanks, again. I should have known one of my kinsman would come up with the answer. My grandmother was born and raised in Edinborough.
