When we got home on Wednesday, it said a file was missing (I think it was lsass something, I really can't remember) and it wouldn't start up at all, so we did a system recovery. We tried over and over to do the system recovery and it didn't work, and then it finally did after the umteenth try.
Windows installed everything, in addition to what I had installed before. I reinstalled AVG, did a scan, and it found 8 viruses, all of which were trojan backdoor viruses. So I downloaded a whole bunch of other spyware, adware, virus scanners (The Cleaner, Spybot, Adaware, etc.) and scanned my computer with all those.
It found some spyware, some adware, and other things, which I deleted.
Well, my computer doesn't stay on long enough to finish long scans. I can't run programs, because it freezes.
There are so many other things that have been happening with it that I can't even name them all, but it's driving me and my family crazy.
I just wanted to see if I could save $75 and get some advice here rather than taking it into a place.
Also, I can only load the taskmanager at the start up of my computer, otherwise it just shows the icon for it in the system tray.
