im trying to repair windows but...

I tried to run a windows xp repair but I didnt get the Welcome to Setup screen only options like delete a portion and some stuff is there a way to get the repair screen.

Did you press enter on the first screen, F8 on second then R on third

To set up Windows XP on the selected item, press ENTER.
To create a partition in the unpartitioned space, press C.
To delete the selected partition, press D.thats the only thing i get
