the x800gto has 31.4GB/s memory bandwith.

You can play games on high settings for shure. You will have to mess with the anti aliasing and antistrophic filtering abit on the newer games and set it lower.

Ok, cool!

I guess i cant expect ming blwoing performace and graphics for the price.

But problem... the CPU is not in stock on ebuyer,

Im gonna check out overclockers.co.uk see if they have the same one, as i need the produce soon and ive had trouble with ebuyers delivery before. So i dont want to take the risk of it not coming for christmas.

So ill buy the 3 products from ebuyer all together and the CPU from overclockers.co.uk if they have it ?

Gd idea ?

Found it on overclockers.co.uk

this the right one ?

yeah 2x anitialiasing on newish games it should handle ok at 1280x1024 maybe 4x i dont push mine much higher than that but i can geg 6 or 8x on alot of games. AA and AF arent essential either. It will be good, and it should manage HDR ok as well my x800 can do it fine so the GT should be able to manage it ok.

overclcokers are a little more expensive you might try microdirect or scan.

the gfx will be mind blowing coming from the system you have and tonnes better than any console.

The problem there is its OEM you want a boxed retail one, the oem one doesnt have the thermal pad or the heat sink and fan, or instructions or warranty so you want the retail one.

Yeah we are happy to help, overclocking you can look up plenty info on some dedicated sites about your specific hardware, most people here dont overclock and if they do many of us like i do just dabble in it occasionaly, I usually only run my gfx card with a good overclock permanently.

It should, there arent many cards that dont fit in the barebones systems and you usually here about them before hand as prodigously long cards tend to bear a mention on forums and review sites. X800GT is made with barebones in mind so you shouldnt have a problem with it.
