Im on a LAN network through AOL and sometimes its great. But every so often it cuts out and is very annoying. I use a Linksys WAG54G for the router if that helps.

errm just get rid of AOL?.....sorry but i really hate AOL 
ne ways 2 ur problem!
the internet link from AOL to you cuts out?
or
your link to your router cuts out?
if its the first then it may be a problem with the ISP and you should just phone them up and get them 2 run some tests on your line? (<<<that solved a problem of mine with BT now that i think about it!)
if its the seccond then it could be a number of things....but first lets see what you say
(before i type a load of stuff out....coz i got 2 eat:P)
