Call of Duty 2 error message

I have been playing COD and have gotten to the english senerios and started getting the following error message and the game locks up

Cmod_Loadleafbrushes:brushindex exceeded

I have left the game and restarted it and I still have the problem
All my drivers are current

Uninstall the game, delete the game folder, and then reinstall the game. Make sure that you do not install any third party maps/mods/skins of any type.
