Hi, I added a network to my windows 98 OS and want to delete it. I cant get the thing to work properly and want to just get rid of the whole network and start from scratch with help from this forum. I cant get rid of the network i set up and get that microsoft network meeting password box to stop opening.

Can anyone tell me how to just delete the whole network and start from scratch/

Thanks

Be aware that turning this option off may prevent Windows from remembering any Dial-Up networking internet passwords.

Go to Control Panel -> Networks and change the Logon type to Windows Logon.

Assuming Windows is set up to use the default type of networking (using a router) then you don't usually need to make any other changes.
