Hi,
I have a new Hard Drive with XP Pro. I have the usual Programmers and use Broadband. When I start up the PC run ok with Internet, and other Programs, etc, then for no reason it just freezes.
Nothing works and I have to turn the PC off and re start. Sometimes I can run for hours and other times a few minutes. I do have the Win fixer pop up but would this cause the Freeze. I have had a few messages that the error is a device problem but this is only a general error warning and all devices seem to be working. I have been trying to get Movies on to DVD but no chance the system crashes after a short time.
Any suggestions would be helpful or any software that may repair the fault

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

Hello. You posted your HijackThis log here instead of in the Malware forum as dsenette instructed. I split the log off from this thread, and started a new topic in the malware forum with it. :tazz: I am closing this thread now. If you get a clean bill of health from the Malware staff but still have problems, please pm me and I will re-open this thread.
