hi copied some data to a harddisk 20 gb which i wanted to keep. i proceed to format my otherdisk 80gb so that i can install windows xp. i formated it by using the windows xp boot cd by deleting the partion and then created two new partitions. after doing this i realized it was on the 20gb i had done this. i want to get the info back and tried using a 3-rd party software but they were all demo. is there any full version software recovery or is there any other method. pleaes help as i need that data

If they were demos then they must sell a full version!

once your format and install on top of it, its almost impossible to recover that data. the only software that I konw that might be able to do it is "easy recovery professionial" from ontrack. Its very expensive.
