Every time I close an application there is a program error. For some applications (e.g. Mozilla) the program error appears before the application starts. Also, when I try to shut down it restarts instead. I'm not sure what has caused this to happen.

from when did it start happening ? did you install any new software or hardware ? if so try uninstalling it.

also try clearing your startup list, possible some junk program is running which could be causing the problem.

also post the exact error message if the problem still persists.
