I was asked to post this question.

If a computer user use to access a web address all the time and now that address says "Page can't be displayed" on his computer but it can be accessed on another computer........

where would he look for the cause of the problem? He has a pop up blocker "Stopzilla" installed but the "black list" is blank. :tazz:

Sorry he did not tell me the site address, just asked me to ask.

Thanks,

scott

On a web page, click tools, internet options, click delete cookies, click delete files, tick to include offline content, click clear history, confirm, close the browser.

Open the browser, try the web page

If both PC's use the same browser but only one PC has stopzilla then disable stopzilla to see if that is the cause

Hi Keith:

I had him do that already. Cleaned everything I thought about to tell him.

Someone hasuggested looking at his "hosts" file folder but that goes beyond where I am comfortable.

The page would be of interest because it may simply be a case of it no longer existing

Nope, the page exists he says. He said that on another computer he uses he accesses it daily.

For some reason it is blocked on his computer.

He has Window Washer and Stopzilla installed.

I asked for the address and he won't say.....must be naked people or something.
