hi my desk top has this windows error blue screen problem codes go as followed:

*** stop: 0x0000008e (ox0000005, 0xbf09d97a7, 0xec61cb60, 0x00000000)

*** nv4_disp.dll - adress bf09b9a7 base at bf012000, datestamp 00000000

This is a display error caused by not having the right drivers for the nvidia graphics card, or you changed the card for a different card and did not uninstall the old drivers.

This has happened to me by trying to use gf4-440 drivers with a fx5200 video card. I also once installed a second set of nvidia drivers without uninstalling the old drivers which caused the computer to constantly reboot. I tried a repair install which made things worse and finally just fdisked the drive and reinstalled windows to fix it.
