:tazz: :) :) :woot: well i was browsing the internet i got this pop up sometimes i get and it was about something trying to get altered i pressed block and again and again it keep popping up until it stopped at last then i decided to play a game i opened the start menu and pressed on the game it didnt come up then i did it again and again still no sign of starting.So then i restarted then comp thinking it would fix it then when i opened the start menu and then to my horror all my games the notepad paint narrator everything except internet which im on now had a application sign instead of the normal one so i clicked on something to see if it would open no then i went to properties went to general and noticed everything's type was LNK and thats it help me plz!!!!!! :woot: :woot: :P :P

Start the System Restore tool at a command prompt

1. Restart your computer, and keep tapping F8 during the initial start-up until you get options, select Safe Mode with a command prompt then press enter.

2. Log on to your computer with an administrator account or with an account that has administrator credentials.

3. Type the following command at a command prompt, and then press ENTER:


4. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to restore your computer to an earlier state.
