Printing backgrounds in word?

Hey there,

When i make a document in word, and then i click format > background > fill effects.

I then choose a background from my pc and then when i print the document it just prints the document and not the background?

Pleese help? :tazz:

Clippy had the answer.

My document background doesn't print.
Document backgrounds are designed for viewing documents only. The background that you create by using the Background command on the Format menu will not print. To add printable borders or shading to your page, use the Borders and Shading command on the Format menu.

Ok,

So if i want to print a background image i will just have to insert the whole image into the back of the document?
