Hi,

The problem I have is I got this virus, W32/Alemod.f.dll. I've run McAfee and it keeps detecting it, but can't do anything about it. What it's been doing is making it so that I can't start up windows in regular mode, but only in safe mode. So I tried all the fixes on the lead up to posting and I found (from using SmitRem) that It can replace the file with one that would work, but I don't have a copy of the file on my system. So Basically I'm wondering if there is a way to get that file and if that would work. Thank you for your time and energy, this is driving me nuts.
