when my computer starts up. before i enter my password on my computer. an error message pops up. it say.

the instruction at "0x054a2b75" referenced memory at "0x0000000c" the memory could not be "read"

im not sure what that means of if it has anything to do with a virus. i was told that it was a virus. but im not sure.

when i go to open microsoft access and create a report it wont work or anything. thats one other thing i noticed that my computer was doing. the dll or something is missing. and we have uninstalled and reinstalled all of microsoft office. was told that whatever makes the message pop up at start up is more than likely the reason that access wont work.

i ran avg. and the only thing it found was. a change in shell32.dll

any help would be great.
