I have having trouble using the Interwise conferencing program. Everytime I try to join or view an event, the error message "student.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." appears. The program worked the first week we used it, but the following week the error message appeared while trying to join the event. My son missed 15 minutes of class while I downloaded the program onto my laptop. It worked fine from there. Tech support had me uninstall and install the Interwise software multiple times. We also disabled virus protection and all other running programs. We added the URL's to the trusted sites on IE. We can't get the program to work anymore.I tried searching for any new files that I added between the time I first used it and the time it stopped working, but I didn't put on any new programs. I spent hours Googling for anything similar, but found nothing. It's really a pain running it from my laptop because I have to disconnect the ethernet cable from my desktop to connect the laptop to the internet. Also, the sound on my laptop sucks and it's a foreign language class we're trying to listen to. I tried listening to a free event on Microsoft.com that uses Interwise and it works fine. I previously posted on the Malware removal forum and my system is clean. I would really appreciate if there is a computer genius out there who could offer some advice!

Thanks,
Ilana
