Can anyone tell me if this is normal??

I have bought a vaio bluetooth mouse to use with my vaio laptop, after I have set it up for the first time, its worked fine, when I shut down the laptop and reboot, I have to connect the mouse again from scratch each time?

Is this normal?, I thought once I had connected it (once) it would recognise the device each time I booted up??

Please help, there has to be an easier way!!
