I need some help...

I went to this one guy that my family new that fix puters. Well, he burned all my files that I was needing kept, and then he redownloaded my whole system...

He also downloaded Microsoft Works 6.0, bigger and better than what was on my CD that came with the puter...

(NOTE: My orginal Windows program CD is badly scratched)

I reinstalled "ONLY" my Smiley Central sense the cleaning...

But now that he has done all of this, my computer runs very slow... He also installed Panda Platinum Virus Protector.

I even get (Runtime Error) messages when on my Microsoft Works Profolio, and also when on Yahoo Messenger chatting, and then mother :o comes on, Dings me, and then puter freezes, along with a Runtime Error, to where I have to hit (Ctrl Alt Delete) then click on her yahoo ID, and then go back into buddy list to bring her back up...

( <_< You still with me? OMG, :D I still have more)

When I got my Comcast Cable Internet installed, the guy looked into my (Ctrl Alt Delete) and took the items that don't need to be running at all times and placed them in Programs...

When I click on Ctrl Alt Delete, I have 12 items running...

What I was wanting to know, is that if anyone knows how to place these items in Program so that they are not running constantly unless needed...

Files running:

hpxstatx: DJStatus Server Module

Loadqm: QMgr Loader

lgfxtray: <~~ Can't find what this is, not finding in my (Find files and folders)

Hkcmd: Module, Intel Common User Interface

Wkcalrem: Microsoft works Calendar Reminder (I have 2 of them installed)

Systray: Microsoft Windows Operating System

Mwsoemon: My Web Search Bar for Internet Explorer, e-mail clients, and messenger clients. <~~ Not for sure what it is, or if I need it?? :D

And I come to find out :D that the (AC3 Filter, Tweak IU, Intel Graphics, and the WinRar archive, are what I am needed for the updated version... ?? I guess... This is what the guy said I needed now sense he upgraded me...

What do you think, please let me know....

Thanks for letting me be a pain in your butt.... :P

Hi Staci,

I really enjoyed your post! <_<

It looks to me like you have a spyware problem. Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Hmm... sounds like maybe the reinstall wasn't complete.

We'll see... you can download the needed DLL here: http://www.dll-files....shtml?msvbvm60

I downloaded the DLL File, and it is going to this (WinRAR) I think it is a zip file...

Don't know, this is something that either came with Panda, or (HE) the fix it guy put it here... Never had it before..

Every file I open, it had a bunch of options with this pic of books stacked up....

OMG.... Is your butt hurting yet... <_<

Do you have an unzipping program? WinZip is the most popular, but we recommend freezip because it's totaly free. <_<

After re-reading your post I realized that you could simply use WinRar to extract the file. It should extract to the proper location.

You're killing me <_<. But, I appreciate it.

Let's try WinZip. When you're done you can uninstall it:

Admid,

Thank you for so trying to help me, but I am so in trouble here..

I don't know enough about puters, WinRar, Winzip, or Extracting for that matter...

There are so many options here, to where I don't know where to go next or what to do next...

* Extract and replace files
* Extract and update files
* Fresh exsiting files only

And when you view it.. IT looks like a bunch of mumbo jumbo...

OMG, so sorry if I am waisting your time...

I'm not dumb fully, just at this kind of stuff... :D

TY so much for all you are doing...<_< <~~ Would give you a hand shake, but you don't have that smiley...lol
