Hello all,

My office uses a software app that generates invoices in Word; each word and number appears in its own text box, and we sometimes delete several of these when they're not needed and this leaves a big white space of a few inches on the document. The curser cannot be put anywhere in that white space nor can this space be highlighted or deleted. Anyone out there know what format such docs are in or how that white space can be deleted? Some in my office are on Word 2000 and others on Word 2003.

Open a new word document, open the invoice, left click anywhere in a text box so you have the outline with the circles, hold the cursor over any of the circles so the cursor changes to 4 point star, right click, click copy here or copy, go to the new document, right click anywhere, click paste, hold the cursor over any of the circles so you have the 4 point star, left click then drag the text box to move it to where you want it, let the button go, left click a clear part of the document to remove the text box outline

Do the same with anything you want to add as part of the new document, save the new document

Close the original invoice, click no if it asks to save changes
