Running Running 2.8 ghz Intel PC with Windows XP Pro SP2 O/S and Sound Max On Board Sound Card(ASUS M/B).
I Was Running Midisoft Studio 4 and playing Midisoft MK-4902 Keyboard with no problem. Next day keyboard wouldn't work because the MIDI input file (MPU-401) was not installed. Anyone know why this file disappeared? Anyone know how to install a new one?
I have tried to use system recovery several times,to go back to,when the MPU-401 was still installed, but for some reason the recovery would not complete. I also tried to copy a MPU-401 file from another computer to the Windows system32/Drivers folder but this didn't work either. I have seveveral other Audio Production programs that need this file for making inputs.
Please give me any help on this that you can.
Thanks

Hi namirt...

Try HERE. Save the file to disk in case you need it again.
