I try to open files deirectly and also I've tried opening Media Player first. I tried using Microsofts knowledge Center but that was no help. Basicly WMP 10 will not run on my machine at all.

No error message comes up. My computer just acts like I never tried to open a file. It doesn't show up in my remove programs so I just tried downloading the file again and reinstalling.
