I used the SEARCH function but didn't find what I was looking for, so here goes. I keep getting the "Hposm" box alert, informing me that "this program has performed an illegal function blah blah blah..." I was told that it's tied to my HP printer, so I un-installed it and re-installed it. It still appears every few minutes. I turned off the printer completely and it still appeared. Ok, guys, I'm illiterate when it comes to this stuff, so what's up? Thanks in advance.......Jimmy

Click start then run

Type msconfig then press enter

Go to startup tab, find hpcmpmgr.exe and make sure it's unchecked, click apply, and restart your computer.
