;) Please

Can someone please help me. I installed Windows XP on my computer and also upgraded to Broadband, but my computer is running very very slow, it especially seems to take forever for a picture file to close and AOL to close down.

I have downloaded and ran Ad-Aware, Spyware Blaster, AVG CW Shredder and TDS-3
Here is a log of my Hi Jack Log

:tazz: Sorry to such a nuisance, but can someone Please, Please help me. This computer is running really slow, especially on start up and when i try to open a program.
Since I posted my last Hijack this Log, I have done a Disk Clean-Up, Deleted all temporary files, degragmented my files (I have 80% free space ??) and my computer is still running slow.

When I press Alt+Ctrl+Del I have 25 Running Processes. (I don't know what they are.)

Someone please, please help me.

Thank you.

Hey try going to http://housecall.trendmicro.com

download "cleanreg" application, it sounds like your registery might need dealing to. dont know the address off hand just look it up its an old windows application. Try running "spybot - seek & destroy" also, i find using a spybot and ad-aware combo is affective.

Also in windows > control panel > system... make sure your performance settings are optimized - youl know what i mean when you check

in dos try going to

c:\windows\command

then type "scanreg /fix" (enter)

also try also in that directory

type "dskchk"

and "scandisk" (say yes to last option - layers)

p.s. have you made any modifications to your OS lately, was there a defining moment before your system slowed down so much? :tazz:
