I'd take the time to put more info and a thank you up, but I'm trying to get this posted before my computer runs into the fatal error and shuts down on me...

*EDIT*
Sorry about the earlier post. I was only able to log on every now and then cause of a fatal system error c000021a on restart. I'm not sure how I managed to fix that, or if I did. I was followeing all the steps listed in the post that states you need to do all this before you make your HJT log post. That is a lot of good stuff. I got rid of a ton of spyware and such I didn't even know was there. I know I have the Spyware.Look2Me stuff, but there's a good amt of another programs too. Any and all help is appreciated greatly!!! :tazz:

Thank you for helping me. Here is the new HiJackThis log. And I've noticed that I can't get into my OMNIpass software anymore. Any suggestions on that?

Looks like spysweeper got rid of look2me :tazz: Not sure on the OMNIpass software

Open HijackThis.
Click on Open Misc Tools Section
Make sure that both boxes beside "Generate StartupList Log" are checked:
  • List all minor sections(Full)
  • List Empty Sections(Complete)
Click Generate StartupList Log.
Click Yes at the prompt.
It will open a text file. Please copy the entire contents of that page and paste it here.

I looked around on a lot of the other posts, just downloading antispyware programs. Glad it worked :tazz: Here is the log you asked for, and I probably won't get around to your reply for a few more hours. I'm on lunch, but I'm off work at 2pm JST. Thank you so so much...

Hijack fixes

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.timyccqsl...Djz8Jws8/w.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.timyccqsl...Djz8Jws8/w.html

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked

Please run this online virus scan:
Panda Active Scan You need to use Internet Explorer for this scan.
  • Once you get to the Panda site, scroll down a bit and click on Scan your PC
  • A new window will appear; click on Check Now!
  • A new window will appear; fill in the boxes (Country, State, email addy)
  • Click on Scan Now! >
If you have never used ActiveScan before, you will be prompted to install an ActiveX control (asinst.cab) : click on Install. Panda will install the component, and then install the latest signature files.
  • From "Select a device to scan...", choose "My Computer"
  • Allow the scan to run. It'll take a while.
  • When complete, click on "See Report", and then on "Save report"; save it to a convenient location.
  • I will need you to post that report in your next reply; simply open the text file, then copy/paste the content here. Also post a new Hijack log

Thats pretty clean

Download and install CleanUp! Here
but do not run it yet.
*NOTE* Cleanup deletes EVERYTHING out of temp/temporary folders and does not make backups.

Disable Spysweeper
Disable microsoft antispyware

Hijack fixes

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.timyccqsl...Djz8Jws8/w.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.timyccqsl...Djz8Jws8/w.html
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked

Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):
  • Empty Recycle Bins
  • Delete Cookies
  • Delete Prefetch files
  • Cleanup! All Users
Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program. If asked to reboot select YES

Post a new Hijack log

Okay...but ummm...question. When you say disable microsoft and spysweeper, do you mean close them out? Uninstall them? And if you just mean exit the programs, ummm...how? I'm not sure how to do that on SpySweeper. Thank you!!

Just leave spysweeper alone . It shouldn't interfere. I was just covering my bases ,and disable Microsoft anti.

Right click the Microsoft antispyware icon in the system tray and choose shutdown Microsoft antispyware :tazz:

Wow.... Are you supposed to have like 47000 deleted files from that cleanup scan???? Jeez. That scan took a while! I thought there was an option to delete all temp files in the internet options thing? Does that not do anything? What are the temp files for? Is that so a page loads faster? Sorry, just me and my lack of pc knowledge :tazz: Anyways--here is the new HJT log. Thank you so much :)

It was a lot of files :tazz: I'm not really getting anymore pop ups, other than I guess the nomal ones that come with websites, and those are being blocked by a popup blocker. All the yyy65.html ones are gone, and those are the ones that were the worst!! So, good to go?? Thank you for your help!! I really appreciate it! :)

Your welcome :)

Congratulations
your system is clean :tazz:

The following is a list of tools and utilities that I like to suggest to people. This list is full of great tools and utilities to help you understand how you got infected and how to keep from getting infected again.
  • Spybot Search & Destroy - Uber powerful tool which can search and annhilate nasties that make it onto your system. Now with an Immunize section that will help prevent future infections.
  • AdAware - Another very powerful tool which searches and kills nasties that infect your system. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy compliment each other very well.
  • SpywareBlaster - Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.
  • SpywareGuard - Works as a Spyware "Shield" to protect your computer from getting malware in the first place.
  • IE-SpyAd - puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
  • CleanUP! - Cleans temporary files from IE and Windows, empties the recycle bin and more. Great tool to help speed up your computer and knock out those nasties that like to reside in the temp folders.
  • Windows Updates - It is very important to make sure that both Internet Explorer and Windows are kept current with the latest critical security patches from Microsoft. To do this just start Internet Explorer and select Tools > Windows Update, and follow the online instructions from there.
  • Google Toolbar - Free google toolbar that allows you to use the powerful Google search engine from the bar, but also blocks pop up windows.
  • Trillian or Miranda-IM - These are Malware free Instant Messenger programs which allow you to connect to multiple IM services in one program! (AOL, Yahoo, ICQ, IRC, MSN)
To find out more information about how you got infected in the first place and some great guidelines to follow to prevent future infections you can read this article by Tony Klein
