On my Dell PC, I have no icons, tray, or start menu; just wallpaper. Every program I try to open thru Task Manager comes back with same error message is .......exe-bad image and "The application or DLL c:\windows\system 32\wininet.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check against your installation diskette."

It looks like the exact same symptoms of KMPrenger on 8-12-05. I have Norton antivirus and run adaware and spybot but can't get to any of those or system restore function without the same error. I have a laptop available to work from. Appreciate any suggestions?
