I regularly use Spybot search&destroy, adaware se personal and try not to instal spyware programs on my computer but lately I've been noticing it being much slower than usual. So I've tried hard to figure it out but can't seem to come to a solution. I would appreciate any advice on this matter.

Welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz:

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A73CCD5E-6671-8F3B-4968-D42A88C2C982} - (no file)
O16 - DPF: {41F17733-B041-4099-A042-B518BB6A408C} - http://a1540.g.akama...meInstaller.exe

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. ;)

Hi Admin!

Thank you for your assistance. My computer is running smoother but I think that is mainly because I removed all heavy programs. She's still not running like she should though...
What about these entries?:

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {ACB1E670-3217-45C4-A021-6B829A8A27CB} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)
what are these?

and is it ok to remove this since I don't have the folder 3B software in my program files (visible or invisible)?
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Windows Registry Repair Pro] C:\Program Files\3B Software\Windows Registry Repair Pro\RegistryRepairPro.exe 4

does this belong?:
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

Will it do any harm if I remove this (because it probably takes up system resources)?:
O4 - Global Startup: Adobe Gamma Loader.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration\Adobe Gamma Loader.exe

This bloody icon has been on my desktop since I bought the comp, i've never used it, don't even know what it's for, but it's been pissing me off forever. Will it do harm if I remove this??:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Share-to-Web Namespace Daemon] C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Share-to-Web\hpgs2wnd.exe

Does this need to be activated Every Time I startup or can I safely delete it (I use this sporadically, not often at all)?:

Thank you again, you guys are truly awesome! :tazz:

Ah, ok. I didn't know that.
I didn't like to post so frequently, but my topic was on page six and it's been a couple of days since anyone replied so I thought I'd give it a go.
I shall patiently wait your repsonse.

Thank you :tazz:

Your log is free of malware! :tazz:

What about these entries?:

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {ACB1E670-3217-45C4-A021-6B829A8A27CB} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)
what are these?

They can be removed, they were installed by McAfee at one time, but no longer used.

and is it ok to remove this since I don't have the folder 3B software in my program files (visible or invisible)?
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Windows Registry Repair Pro] C:\Program Files\3B Software\Windows Registry Repair Pro\RegistryRepairPro.exe 4

Sure, remove it.

does this belong?:
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

Can also be removed if you'd like, but doing no harm.

Will it do any harm if I remove this (because it probably takes up system resources)?:
O4 - Global Startup: Adobe Gamma Loader.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration\Adobe Gamma Loader.exe

It is a resource hog, and can be removed.

Also okay to remove, but not malicious.

Does this need to be activated Every Time I startup or can I safely delete it (I use this sporadically, not often at all)?:
O16 - DPF: {4F1E5B1A-2A80-42CA-8532-2D05CB959537} (MSN Photo Upload Tool) - http://by17fd.bay17....es/MsnPUpld.cab

Remove if you like.
