As per your recommendation, I have installed Firefox, which appears to have gone okay, on trying to install Sun Java, I get the following message during the update procedure ...

"Error 1311. Source file not found
C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSIB.tmp
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it"

On searching, I cannot find that file.

What should I do ?

This firefox thinggy doesn't seem to be working well for me, it's made my computer quite sluggish, should I uninstall it ?

I have uninstalled firefox and my computer is now running much better, what I fail to understand is why you recommend it ?
