I'll be buying a Ferrari 4005WLMi soon, I know it's not THE best Mobile games platform, but it seems decent enough. Here are the specs:

AMD-64 2Ghz Processor
1 Gb RAM DDR 333
ATI X700 with 128 Mbyte RAM
1Mb L2 Cache

Okay it's pretty meaty for a 2.8 kg 15.4" laptop, but will it get the job done? I'm not expecting full specs by any means, but I would quite like to have textures enabled :)

What do you reckon? I love the Ferrari :) but if it won't run battlefield 2 then what's the point? :tazz:

(And if you could tell me what level of graphic beauty I'll get out of it I'll be very appreciative)

Should run it on medium settings ok if it were a desktop, but laptops can be funny, lots other things to do than play BF2 its not even that good or even that pretty(nice for how big it is but not a patch on quake or hl2) it will play it quite well though if you play online alot of people turn the settings down anyway to get rid of lag, its good if its really only 2.8kg will beat most lappies twice its size. Should play HL2 well, seen alot worse play it so that should manage it on maybe even high settings.

Sweet lapper, wish i could afford one, the big thing why laptops had bother with games was the CPUs were underpowered and the gfx crap, but that has a decent card, and a very nice new mobile cpu from the gaming low power consumption masters at AMD, best thing is to try and find someone else that has one and ask, maybe on acer forums if they have an acer forums, or a specific , laptop site, noting beats actually having something like that in front of you to tell you how good it is.
