game keeps crashing my comp

i downloaded a game called babylon 5 i ve found her..........the problem is no sooner have i started the game a few mins later my comp shuts down........just turns off then i have to reboot it three times before i comes back on........this has never happened before till i got this game .......i for got to say its freeware....any body help

ongoing, this game is an opengl based game (this is the graphic api used by the game to draw the screen) so I would start there--is your graphics card open gl compatible?

What kind of videocard do you have? Download the latest drivers for your card first, but it might not be possible for you to run this game depending on your card (though most do support open gl).
