I just had high speed internet(supposed to be T1) installed and my connection speed is still pretty slow , not even close to what i`m supposed to be at{according to numerous speed tests and slow page loads etc:).Is there anything I< can do to tweak or in any other w ay inhance my connection speed and/or my performance? TYIA(winXP Home OS/2.8 ghz celeron/256 ddr sdram/80 gig HD/Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC/.My constant connect speed is 100.00Mbps and (for ex: macfee speed test results are around 371.00 kbps)Is this a correct speed for a supposed T1 connection?

Try DSL Reports Tweak Test: http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks

T1 should be about 1024kbps.

Previous versions of Windows had to be tweaked for broadband, but XP was designed for it and actually works very well right out of the box. It sure sounds like you're not geting the speed your paying for. I suggest contacting your provider.
