Move PC from 2000 to XP.

Loaded the modem drivers fine, I can query the modem. However when I go 2 network connections to add a internet dial up connection. The option for dial up modems is greyed out???

Anthony, does the modem show in the device manager and in the Control Panel PHONE and MODEM OPTIONS?

If so, what service pack are you running?

Usually, reinstalling the most recent service pack will solve this issue.

Download the administrative service pack 2 from here
http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en

and you can reinstall
