ok that sounds reasonable. check this out, this is just a first draft

Cpu - AMD 64 3400+ - 275$
Mobo - Asus K8N E - 85$
HD - samsung 7200RPM 160gb - 108$
RAM - DDR 1gb PC/3200 400mhz kingston - 129$
PSU - Thermaltake w0009 420W - 75$ (not to sure about this)
Case - whatever looks good in the shop - (assuming about 100$)
CD/DVD - LG GSA-4167B 16x+/16x- DL DVD Writer - 65$
Floppy - whatevers there - about 30$
GPU - ATi RADEON x850 PRo - Already purchased

I think thats all and it all looks fine to me, but then again what do i know lol. what do you guys think?

looks good whats the core type on the cpu, you want a clawhammer or one of the winnies(winchester), RAM i dont know about in the US but kingston is quite expensive here and corsair is usually cheaper and its better ram.

Case antecs and coolermasters are good cases, you want two 120mm fans.

I would get a larger PSU i think you need it.
