Winhound has appeared on my computer. I have tried but cannot access the internet to download a program to get rid of it. It is very difficult to open any program on my computer and when I restart my computer winhound appears straight away.

I am on my work computer sending you this message. Please help as I need to access my home computer this weekend.

Thank you

Download and save as many of these as you can on any PC and save them to a CDR then load and run them on the problem PC

Please go here:

Malware Removal Guide

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, ask for advice in the Malware Forum

Thanks Keith. I realised I had posted this in the wrong forum and posted another topic in the malware forum.

That's fine, though they will need to see a few results and specifically the Hijack This Log, so if you can download / save them to run them on the problem PC it will help
