Hey all,

i just purchased a new computer with the latest wondows xp pro sp2 and all that. and it has a message saying something about windows finding spyware. see the image for full description.

im sure that this itself is spyware because i have run ad-aware se pro, microsoft antispyware, spybot and norton antivirus 2005 and none of them have found anything.

it automatically pops up each time the machine boots and i found i file which i think is it but i can not delete it as the program is running

any help would be greatly appreciated

neddyc...

Don't install the software it's asking you to download...

Let's let the malware experts deal with this one.

Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the Start Here. That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

Be patient, the Malware Forum is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual. DO NOT REPLY TO OR BUMP YOUR OWN LOG. If it shows a reply it may be overlooked as one that is being worked on.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

Screwed...You should follow that advice, too, if you can... :tazz:
