My computer is on windows xp, dial-up connection. Every few times I go online a baloon comes up at bottom right saying my computer may be at risk, Norton antivirus 2005 is turned off. When I put the arrow on the icon it says Norton anti-virus auto protect enabled. In the Windows security center it says it is up to date and on. In managing add-ons it says its enabled. I am a fairly new computer user and this message makes me uneasy. Could it be an erroneous message? Thank you.

Another unuseful software by microsoft is the Windows security center that comes with SP2. I get these messages all the time. I double check and everything is working. Just another half baked idea that has been sent out to the public for testing until they get enough complaints to try fixing it.
