When I bought my new emachines T3104 (WinXP SP2), it came with the Napster lite player installed. I want to free up some space and when I try to uninstall the player from add/remove, it tries to install and gives me a message that the version I am trying to install is older than the version I currently have and will not uninstall. There is no uninstall option in the programs list. How the heck can I uninstall this program that I do not want or use?
Please advise.

Go into your C:\Program Files\ folder and see if you can find Napster. If you can, go into that folder and see if it has its own uninstaller. If it does, use that to see if it will uninstall properly.

If not, then just delete the whole Napster folder (if it's taking that much space). Then run a registry cleaner program like RegSeeker.

You should really start a new post. Piggy backing on another post will get confusing.
Sometimes you need to install and then do a uninstall.
