Aloha,

I need help... I have downloaded noadware, hijack this, spybot seek and destroy, as well as spyware blaster, and I still cannot get rid of allaboutsearching. Will someone please help me out here... I'm not sure what I'm doing, and I could sure use some expert advice.

I'm very remedial and pretty much need someone to draw me a picture, I'm clueless. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Please move Hijack This to its own folder (i.e. C:\HJT). Else it will scatter backups all over your desktop.

Reboot your computer in safe made (by tapping F8 at startup and selecting safe mode from the menu).

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

i followed your directions, but was unable to find the files you said to delete. instead there seemed to be a whole different set of files in the scan log.

let me know if i'm doing something wrong.
