Thank you. That pop-up is gone now. But now whenever i start up my browser it automaticaly brings me to the page needupdate.com. I repeatedly set my homepage to google but needupdate.com still comes up, and it doesnt say that it is set as my home page.

Click yes to accept then launch housecall

http://us.trendmicro...call/v6.5/?us=2

See what it finds, it can takes hours but will run in the background, will report what is there, will attempt to remove it then rescan if you agree

The safest option is to run through the malware removal guide

Please go here:

Malware Removal Guide

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, ask for advice in the Malware Forum

If you have not got anti-spyware programmes installed then get 1, 5 7 and 8 from here

http://www.filehippo...re/antispyware/

Update them before running

Spybot has tea timer, if you set this to run, it will give you a pop up if anything tries you change the homepage setting, you can turn tea timer off when you are clear
