My computer has been fine for ages, as a result of previous geeks to go efforts. I started my computer today though and some 'Adware' shortcuts were on my desktop...and a search bar on the bottom right has appeared....

Ive run Spybot and deleted all entries. Its now clear. The search bar remains though. It deosnt have a name for it or anything.

Here is my Hijack Log. Appreciate any help. Cheers.

Hi bobbylindsay

The version of HijackThis you are using is badly out of date. Please download the most recent version from here http://www.geekstogo...action=cat&id=3 Do a new log and post that.

The new version shows a lot more information.
