My system was slowing down immensely, so I opened the task manager and looked at the processes--and I found I had over 20 "iexplorer" image names running, despite having closed all the IE windows. Closing them in Task Manager all frees some resources, but I suspect not all.

Any ideas as to how I get the images to close when I close the program?

Thanks,

Doug

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. System is slow and you have un-explained processes of ie explorer running makes me suspect possible malware. It is certainly worth checking to make sure your system is clean. Work through the malware removal guide at http://www.geekstogo...?showtopic=2852
This enables folks to solve most problems on their own. If you still have trouble after that post a hijack this log in the malware forum at http://www.geekstogo...o-Here-f37.html
