Smc.exe file errors

hi, I have windows2000 professional, the Smc.exe file does not load, it shows eror message..Sygate fire wall will not load... how can it be fixed??

the sygate firewall can usually be fixed just by reinstalling the software... check their website first, they're good about putting out updates, so, a newer version might be available, too...

Just to be safe, you might want to do a complete system scan (or download and run HiJack This and post the log in this boards Malware section)... though I'm unaware of specific loggers and other virii that disable Sygate, there are programs that try.
