I'm trying to get rid of Directs.exe, but I can't access my Registry Editor. I'll click Run, and the window will only pop up for a second or so before closing automatically. GAA!!
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, but with the same result.

I just installed the EwidoGuard software, so it's knocking directs.exe off my taskmanager. Funny, but ever since then, regedit works just fine. Do you know whether there is a definite connection between the directs.exe worm and regedit malfunction?

thanks

after searching online, I found this about directs.exe: http://www.processli...rects/index.php

It seems that you have a worm.

do not attempt anything rash by removing stuff from you registry. You can seriously damage your computer if you don't know what you're doing.

Follow the directions about malware in my signature.
