I have 2 computer both running xp pro, a d-link router, both are connecting to the internet, useing the ip of the computer i connected mine to hers no problem, i can access, read, execute, and modify fies on her computer, when i goto connect hers to mine it wont work. please help.

Did you use the XP's built-in Network Setup Wizard? You can find it by going to Start -> Accessories -> Communication -> Network Setup Wizard.

Simply run it one computer following the instructions. It will create a floppy disk that will transfer these settings to your other computer.

Yes thats right admin,

Or her computer that is not working may not be set-up for
those privleges.
