I’m running a hp pavilion zx5000 with Windows XP. Lately, I have gotten an error notice after signing in at the welcome screen. After signing in, an error notice will pop up stating that The application failed to initialized properly (0xc0000005) Click OK to terminate the application After I press OK it will pop up once again and I click OK and it doesn’t pop up anymore. Then, it takes an unusual amount of time to boot up to my desktop and when I get to my desktop there are no icons or taskbar. I can only see the picture on my desktop. What should I do?
