resizing pictures in microsoft word-how?

hello, i forgot how to resize a picture once i inserted it in microsoft word, can someone tell me how?

Hi shishomiru04,

If you double click on the pic, an outline with small squares should appear around the pic. Put your mouse on one of the squares, left click and hold , then drag inward or outward to resize it !!

if you want the image to stay the same scale...then hold down shift while you drag on one of the corners...this will keep the same aspect ratio..but making it bigger...that way you don't get stretched images that look wonky
