Silly question, probably, but have you now re-installed Kaspersky AV and AH? I have Ghost 9 installed plus both Kaspersky programs and there seems to be no shutdown problems. I wonder if my Symantec Product Support Analyst will be in touch now that I've told him the Kaspersky folks quickly fixed the problem. :tazz:

Stephen, i didnt bother re-installing Kaspersky. I have Mcafee and am happy so far with it.

Thanks for the update.

btw, the Symantec Analyst offered his regrets about the misunderstanding.

I haven't been able to learn what the conflict was... but, oh well...
