cant change properties

so i finally got my hard drive in and got my pc running but i ran into another issue. when i went to change my screen saver and power settings, an error message came up.... "rundll32.exe there is no disk in the drive" ive seen this before but never when i tried to change properties.
any help is appriciated....

anything more to that error message...it sounds like windows thinks the desktop backgrounds are on an external drive....

it may help to know where it thinks they are....
